Quark Expeditions

I had an amazing time on this trip. All the expedition staff and crew were friendly and helpful. Everything was clearly communicated and organized. I hope to travel with Quark again. The only item I would have struck from the agenda was the trip to Barentsberg, as it wasn't about an indigenous culture nor was it about nature/wildlife, so it seemed very out of place.

We have only one word for this trip and it is "Spectacular". The expedition staff along with the hotel staff of the ship added a big plus factor to the trip. We honestly felt that we were treated like a Queen and King. The Captain and his crew gave 110% to ensure that we had every opportunity to see the wildlife and beautiful sea/landscapes that were available. We felt overwhelmed with all the wildlife that we photographed...our pictures are stunning. The special additions to the ship such as a very well organized Gift Shop with a great variety of items to purchase was wonderful. And last but not least the opportunity of having Sue Foot and Cindy Miller Hopkins providing valuable information to all of us made the trip complete. We felt so fortunate to have been able to be part of this wonderful adventure. For us we will always value the time we spent on this expedition.

We had a great time and we filled out the survey - but forgot to mention that I thought the bacon was way under cooked. With the emphasis on having meat more well done I stopped eating the bacon. At the start of the cruise the bacon was cooked better Thanks, Connie

Trip was surprisingly different from other Quark trip I have taken, first to Antartica and second to Greenland and the Canadian Arctic..Wildlife and scenary excellent.

Can't say enough great things about this Quark trip. I do realize that seeing wildlife is not guaranteed and feel so fortunate to have seen all we did. Amazing. The staff was also great...everyone from hotel staff to the expedition leaders were exceptional. Cindy Miller Hopkins and Sue Flood were simply amazing, both with their photography classes and their one on one help. Gerry, in the restaurant and Roscoe our cabin steward both must have ESP. They knew what I wanted or needed even before I did. Annie, Wayne, Todd, Aymie and Juani were amazing guides as well as zodiak drivers. I have fallen in love with zodiak rides. And of course Woody was a great expedition leader. Thanks to all who made this once in a lifetime trip absolutely perfect.
