I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with my recent Lofoten ski tour. Despite the high expectations I had for this trip, the experience was deeply disappointing due to poor organization and management.
My concerns include the following:
- Communication: Correspondence was handled exclusively via email, with irregular response times and several of my inquiries left completely unanswered.
- Weather Management: The tour proceeded despite constant rain. Given the conditions, the sessions should have been canceled. It appeared that profit was prioritized over the quality of the experience and participant safety.
- Program Execution: Out of the three scheduled days, only two ski tours took place. Each consisted of only one ascent and one descent, which is unacceptable for a professional program.
- Overall Value: The approach felt purely transactional and overly formal. While the guide attempted to improve the situation, skiing on grass in pouring rain is not what was advertised. Additionally, the lack of basic tour merchandise or stickers further highlighted a lack of investment in the participant experience.
Because of these issues, I cannot recommend your services to others. I hope you will take this feedback into account to improve your future operations.
