Great models. Bad support / shipping times

The models are nice and I’ve only had one come with any broken parts. Luckily it was more a case of the piece just didn’t have enough glue and came off than actually broken, so a dab of super glue fixed it. But I shouldn’t have to do that. The bigger problem is shipping times and mistakes. I had one order take over a month even though all items were listed in stock. And then when it showed up there were wrong/missing items in the order. I sent back the incorrect item I received immediately. But now I’m told one of the items I’m owed is “out of stock”. So who knows when I’ll get that even though it was in stock when I ordered it. And this problem occurred on two orders. Each had a mismatch. When I called support about checking on status of the order and about the mismatches, the employees seemed unhappy to be working at all. Actually one sounded super depressed and the other sounded angry she had to answer the phone at all. And it’s disconcerting when you call the 1-800 number listed as CUSTOMER SERVICE on your receipt and all over the website to report an issue and you are told “you need to email customer service”. I thought I was on the phone with customer service lol So while I will continue to purchase the models from Eaglemoss. I will likely do so from third party retailers or EBay where possible. It’s faster. Better support. And so far from those I haven’t had any mistakes or broken items.

Happy once I got the product.

I do like these ships, only minor issues to report on the quality, mostly with the way the pylons are not always straight on the nacelles, but otherwise a fine looking ship. My issue was with the ordering process, after placing the order it seemed to go into limbo for some time. Eventually I contacted the customer support line and was told it was held up in customs. Later that day, I received notification that it was sent from the facility that afternoon.
