The shipping was a little confusing because I would get a notice that the bikes would be delivered on a certain day and then they showed up. Kind of strange; but isn't everything since the Vid? It was packed incredibly well, but I'm disappointed that the most important feature (the meter on the front) was damaged. We looked at some YouTube videos and it seems the company did not put the meter in sponge wrapping like we saw on the video. Contacted Velotric today to start the process of exchanging that. Going to the mountains this weekend, and cannot wait to ride!

Disappointed in quality of bike.

bike performs very well though! Could have a few more gears, I maxed out on this right off the bat. Instructions are hard to read. All info should be in one place, not two different manuals. How to reset the trip and time? Cant find.

Customer response time is great, but I have had problems with electrical issues, and I still don't have the part I was promised to fix it. So the rear light is always on if the battery is in, and the front light doesn't work.

Velotric website described NEW version of Discovery 1 and I confirmed with customer service that I would receive NEW version before I even placed my order. I received OLD version. They offered to (and did) pay for inexpensive hydraulic brakes to make it up to me but they should have exchanged my OLD version bike for the NEW version since they originally promised me a NEW version bike.
