Never buy direct

Customer service is impossible to get a hold of, very slow to respond, your return policy is basically non existent, unreasonable, and far worse than the industry standard. People can buy your products third party with satisfaction guarantees, never mind proper return policies.

Terrible Customer Service!

I reached out to customer service twice regarding 2 products that failed on the first use and no reply. First product was a poop shovel that broke apart and second product was a water storage bladder that kept dripping water constantly. I emailed Seatosummit and I never got a response. Can’t trust a company that won’t stand behind their products.

I bought a new Ether

I bought a new Ether Light XT directly from Sea to Summit. It leaked on my first trip. Sea to Summit won't simply replace defective gear, they want you to send back for repair. It's been more than 3 weeks and no word from them and the season is wasting away - I've had to cancel two backcountry camping trips. Despite my previous excitement I now wish I'd gone with a different pad and manufacturer.

My order got lost during shipping. I called 3 times to get another sent out and new tracking. Never got it. Won’t buy again terrible customer service
