Needs updating

Many of the helmets on the report are either discontinued or several years old. There don’t appear to be many helmets that were introduced within the last few years if any. The helmet I bought using the report did not fit well creating pain in the forehead and a deep impression of the padding after a few minutes of wear.

Not terribly helpful

I ended up buying a lid I'd bought a much earlier version of 20 years ago (RF1200--my original was an RF700). Fit was not the same, but it was close enough to work. The RF1200 was not listed as an option on my LidPicker report--and neither was the helmet a replaced--an Icon. Don't feel like this was very helpful at all, but he free sunglasses have been used a lot.

Lidpicker "Process"

A good process to sort out whether your head is round, long oval or whatever, which allows you to totally dismiss certain helmet types. The system totally falls apart when trying to figure out L, XL XXL. For over 25 years helmet manufacturers' measurements tell me M to L.....and those sizes don't even START to go over my head. That leaves me with the process of finding the helmet somewhere close by to try on....then shop for price, and look for recommendations by other riders. So....overall, "LidPicker" was a gamble, and I lost....but got some $ back with the $15 credit.

This thing needs a serious update

The list of helmets is anything but exhaustive, the measurements are way off and datas are out of date. I paid for the service and am in the same situation than before
