Customer Service and Prices are Not What It Was

I've been one of the very first Gorila Fitness customers. Pricing was fair at the time, when there wasn't a lot of competition. Now, it appears that Gorila fitness has shifted to follow the same pricing model as Rogue, I've been going on your website weekly for more than 5 years. I've noticed the drastic price increase, lack of shipping options and trying to be the Canadian Rogue. Wakeup call. Nike and Bell of Steel are true competitors. I'd argue that Bells of Steel is not only offering best value for money right now, including Northern Fitness. But shipping options are better and product development off the charts. I've lost respect for the company and a lesson in Supply and Demand would be helpful. Anyway, looking to sell all my Gorila fitness and find better products for better value and price point. Disappointed customer with influence.

Calibrated Plates

I ordered Calibrated plates on June 9th because the pricing was good. Shipping was supposed to be 2-7 Days. 7 days after I placed my order I got an email from Gorila Fitness saying they misquoted my shipping by $200. They apologized and said they really wanted to make it right. I was given 2 options to make it right: 1. Cancel my order or 2. Pay $200 more. I emailed back and also phoned, but they refused to give any option that would have made it right. I would have been happy uf they offered to split the extra shipping 50/50. I would have been happier if they just admitted their mistake and ate the shipping since I had already been invoiced and the original price had been charged to my credit card for a week already. Maybe they should review their shipping quotes before they apply charges to the customers credit card as well as review the shipping in a timely fashion, instead of letting me know a week later. All in all I got my plates, had to pay $200 more than I was quoted and my 2-7 day shipping took 22 days. The plates themselves look great and are accurate, super thin, thinner than all my other Calibrated plates. The only downfall is they are super thin and have almost no lip so they are harder to hold onto when loading than any of my other Calibrated plates. Overall I am happy with the product, but extremely unhappy with the customer service. I was told they will take out the wording in the email that they "want to make it right for the customer ", moving forward since the clearly want to make it right for themselves and not the customer.

Through my experience with gorilla

Through my experience with gorilla fitness I found it to be unprofessional. There was a huge lack of communication , very little honesty on shipping time . And I still received unfinished and damaged equipment . I definitely expected better from a Canadian company

Terrible customer service really comes

Terrible customer service really comes down to it - two weeks to change the barbell that was on sale on the website to reflect my bill and sent wrong hardware and had to use Facebook to get you to answer me because customer service helpline didn’t work great product but man wish I ordered from rogue instead
