The batteries don't last very long The shirt doesn't really seem to produce much heat. The shirt is too short, I take wear a large and I'm not really a large and it is still too short to tuck in. would be nice to have battery not where your belt or pack goes. Shirt would be better with thumb-holes. zip up neck is to tight around neck, and I'm not a big guy. I've worn this a few times now and can't really tell if I'm getting any heat from it. I have to where a lightweight poly underneath since it does not tuck in; otherwise I'll end up with a draft up my back, even when its not really cold. The socks are a really PITA to turn on when you have your stuff on. You can't tunr the battery on and leave the heat unit off so you have to try to turn the battery on in the field. Socks have a vinyl pad inside that causes my feet to sweat so I have to wear a liner sock under them. They do seem to help with the heat but also they don't last long.

I really see why Amazon does so well, no hassle return or exchange usually. I thought I followed the size chart correctly, but it was to tight in the hip area for my wife, ask for exchange but it was rejected, I now have to pay to get it shipped back, wife doesn't want to deal with this again.
