Peak Vest 7.4V Mens
I was looking to order a men's Peak Vest 7.4V. Your site stated that the garment ran small and one should order the next larger size. So to be sure about what size to order I called and spoke to a service rep. I gave him my measurements 39 chest and 34 waist. He insisted that the small would be to tight and that I should order a medium for comfort. I stated that I was wearing it on a motorbike, so not much movement involved. He still insisted that the medium would be a better size for me. So I took his advice, since he is the company service rep who does this all of the time and should know his products, and ordered a medium.
I still had reservations about the chest sizing so I ordered a small vest a couple of days later. I really wanted to compare sizing to get the fit that I was trying to achieve for the intended purpose. When they had both arrived, the medium did fit comfortably though it seemed a bit too long and the chest was a little loose for what I was looking for. The small was a much better fit, more snug around the chest and waist and shorter in length.
Despite your website and service rep imploring sizing up, the small size vest still had enough ease around the waist, more than an inch, to fit comfortably and still allow movement with the ease and the stretch material on the sides. I don't know who you judge sizing from, lets just say your sizing recommendations are way off for this garment.
If I hadn't been misdirected by your service rep and website I would have just ordered the small vest and saved the extra shipping cost for the other vest, as well as saving the return shipping that it is going to cost me to return the medium. So, instead of the stated sale price I'll be paying an extra $20 for the garment. Needless to say, I am disappointed in your website and your service staff's recommendations.
Will see how the product works in the coming months.
