I wanted to share my experience with the Ariel Rider e-bike I purchased recently. Unfortunately, it's been quite disappointing so far. Living in Montana, I was excited to enjoy the remaining weeks of our short summer on my new e-bike. However, within a week of purchase, I started having issues with the battery heating up.
I contacted Ariel Rider, and they told me to stop using the battery immediately and send it to them for inspection and repair. The frustrating part is they didn't offer a replacement battery to use in the meantime. This left me with a brand-new bike that I can't ride, rendering my $1,500 purchase pretty much useless.
The process of sending the battery back and waiting for a repaired one to be returned is likely to take weeks, if not months. This means I'll miss out on the prime riding season I was looking forward to. I feel like I wasted my money and time, and I don’t see myself buying from Ariel Rider again.
In the next few days, I'm planning to purchase another e-bike from a different brand and either sell my Ariel Rider as is or send the battery back, taking a gamble on what the outcome might be. Overall, I'm very upset and let down by this experience, and I wouldn't recommend Ariel Rider based on my experience.
