Opens and closes extremely easily, filling itself or emptying of air in the process. The option of USB charge beforehand adds to usefulness for general use, camping and so on, as well as preparedness for power outages. The lantern produces a very nice, even light, no "shadows" or extra bright spots noted. Amount of light produced on each setting is useful/functional for a lantern of this type. The light weight and compact storage, long with the adjustable strap to hang or attach the lantern either to charge, or to spread light, is a nice added touch, vs. non-adjustable strap. A very functional lantern for a very reasonable price.
