Perfect for camping lighting, and for evening ambience and mood lighting
We bought a few Luminaid lanterns many years ago after seeing them on Shark Tank, and loved them. I replaced them with new ones for an upcoming camping trip where we would be off grid for 3 nights, and they worked great! When Luminaid found out that I had just bought 4 more lanterns due to waning original lantern batteries, they also offered to replace the old ones.
We used 1 Nova. 2 Firefly, and 2 Spectra for a few hours each night on the trip, on low and medium brightness; and we still didn't use up maybe half of the battery. The Firefly were most fun to use in flickering candle mode at night, with their sparkly see through body/diffuser adding to the illusion. The Nova gave us a bright white light for when we needed to clean up after cooking. I didn't even need to use the Titan 2-in-1 300 lumen, which I got because of the 4000 maH backup battery. No more battery anxiety in my Lanterns.
I liked that they had 3-4 brightness levels, plus candle-like flickering mode (Nova has a blinking mode, not flickering, so we didn't use that mode). The Nova is the one to get for bright clean white light when you need the most visibility, but the Firefly are warmer colored and perfect for ambience lighting as are the Spectra.
