LuminAID

This is the fourth LuminAID lantern and charger I have bought - three in the past as gifts, and this last one for myself. I love them. The five choices of light level/types are great. The phone/device charger is wonderful. One question: The directions say to close the lantern when not in use. Why is this? If I leave it open/blown up most of the time will this affect the quality or longevity of the lantern?

I love this product, and recently recommended it to friends when they were talking about the winter power outages in Texas. Great thing to have on hand!

I have followed the company for a while. Fortunately I have not had to actually use it yet I have just tested it but it behaved as expected. A couple of years ago I brought one for a nice young men who I had met down in Guatemala the group that I had worked with had built him and his mother a brand new house but they lived in an area with no electricity. The next year I had brought him one of your lights. The Pastor had helped him wire the room with a light but they could not get the used old generator to run so he seemed happy to get you light.

Excellent craftsmanship and easy to use and store.
