Vela Bikes

Riding a Vela is a joy! I love the colors, especially the red. I think the size options are great- I feel like the Vela I rode was custom made for me. Very easy company to get in touch with and answer questions quickly.

The bike is a game-changer. I truly didn't know what to expect from the experience, but it made commuting a total joy (which is a real feat in the height of summer humidity!). It's also stunning. I can't tell you how many people stopped me on the street to ask about it. LOVE VELA.

Except for a couple minor design kinks that can easily be worked out, the bike feels great to ride and works very well. Comfortable seat, classy looking bike and easy to ride.

The Vela bike has some great features for a competitive price, including pedal assist with boost, built in USB charger, and removable battery. I am a 5’5” female and rode the small bike in cherry red on the small seat setting and it was a shade small. I also tried the medium bike with the small seat setting, but it was a couple inches too big. However, Vela has told me they adjusted the seat inserts to create a size between the small and medium seat height inserts and that should be perfect. I ordered my small bike in powder blue and could not be more excited to ride it around town!
