I recently purchased the 3400 Windrunner and I am so in love with it. The way the roll down top snaps to the side so you can really compress everything down is my favorite part. oh! and the really durable mesh - when i stuff my gear in the front of the pack, I don't feel like I am going to immediately rip it. Bought a Hyperlite backback and i was stunned with the weight! It's hard to appreciate how light it is until it's in your hands. The fitting guide ensured that it felt like a custom fit for my back, and the light weight allowed me to carry more essentials, like food and clothing for my kids. In fact, i wonder if i would have had the courage to design our hiking trip with 5 less pounds of food? :)
