Just got to use my new southwest pack for an overnight on the AT. So Good!! Takes some getting used to but all grams matter. Thanks Hyperlite what a great product. In this case you get what you pay for absolutely.

Love the pack. Has everything you need and nothing more. Customer service from HMG was beyond what I thought was perfect. You get what you pay for. Don’t skimp with other brands and sacrifice quality, durability and customer/product support. It was a pleasure doing business with HMG

Windrider 3400;one sz large pod and a pillow stuff. Very happy so far, only about 200 miles use but bomproof so far..

I love my pack so far. It has enough volume to support backpacking trips with my family, and it compresses to make an excellent summit pack. I also like it for big cragging days when I need to carry a rope, rack, food and clothing. The pack allows me to do all of the above with minimal pack weight. I love the simplicity of the design and the lack of gadgets. Thanks, Hyperlite.
