I an a cosigner on my husband's loan and have my own loan. I had to make two accounts with 2 different email addresses. There were several bugs that lead to this process. It was time consuming and difficult to work through.

I got a good rate, but was not prepared for a third party servicer to contact me. It would have been good customer service to proactively inform the consumer that loans are not serviced in house before they sign the promisory note

I wish there could have been more transparency and a clearer guide to refinance and buyout. if legally possible some communication between commond bond and previous lender. It would have been nice to have the expertise that commonbond possesses to work through that process. I had trouble getting accurate buyout amounts on previous loans. All said and done i was about 1000 dollars short on refinancing and from my previous lender so i am still paying that off.

I feel CommonBond is a strong program and suits many well. Even after the issues, I still promote it to friends. However, I went through weeks of stress hoping everything would go through when my expectation (Set up by the marketing info) was for less than a week. Underwriting took extremely long for my taste.

Great loan app experience and loan terms! Was very happy with all of the initial steps of the process with Common Bond. There is room for improvement on the back end when it becomes time to pay the loan off. The access to Firstmark's website was problematic and took multiple touch points to resolve.
