I'm fairly new to using certificates to sign code so I've had a bit of a learning curve. I've had to call on their customer service twice, first to help me understand which certificate best fit my needs (OV v/s EV) and then to help me understand some of the requirements to create a single code signing certificate that could be used on both Windows and MacOS. Their customer service has been prompt and helpful in all cases. Their documentation is also, on the whole, pretty good. I took off one star because the website requires Internet Explorer (not even Edge), and I found, in spite of what's claimed on their site, that their site does not work with the latest version of Safari on MacOS.

Simple(!) PC users, which want to install a personal S/MIME email certificate may get frustrated while attempting to create their own CSR, if they are not familiar with this entire stuff. In past times, Sectigo itself automatically created the CSR data and such users have only to collect, validate and download the provided certificate. Moreover, Sectigo should ASAP find a way to download/install certificates WITHOUT the need of the Microsoft Internet Explorer, since it is discontinued!

This was a renewal, you should already have all our company info but still you asked for documents to validate the company. I ordered the certificate on May 13 and I only got the certificate in May 17

I've had an excellent experience with their support team every time I ever had a need to contact them. They are quick and efficient at resolving my issues. I wish the website was a little more user friendly and less buggy but as long as I have great support that's not too much of a hinderance.

It’s frustrating to get hold of the right person. But he did resolve my issue promptly.
