Disappointed in the length of delivery time

Hello, Arcadia, I love the history books that you sell. However, even though I have been buying from you for years, and my email address has not changed, I have not received any email promotions about your sales. Consequently, I placed an order for full-price books a few days before your Memorial Day sale. I discovered the sale only when I went to your website to check on the order I had just placed. I never received any email notifying me of the sale. I would also like to receive an email acknowledgment each time I place an order. Otherwise, I don't know if you received the order and can't gauge when it may be delivered. Thank you, Nancy
