Softopper

Great product and is easy to install or remove.

Pros: -easy install -sturdy materials and construction - folds down in 2 minutes - very functional and looks sharp. Great for stacking gear. I get comments from strangers all the time on how cool it looks. Cons: - the Velcro strips provided for the back window flap are useless. Once exposed to the elements it falls off. I don't miss it, a magnetic solution would be better - the rigid bar on the back flap works great when locked in place but if you roll that window up or accordion the unit back it easily slips out of the fabric channel and can fall off.

Product works great shipping was later than expected or this would be a 5 star review. This is a fantastic product. I put my dogs back there and they love it.

My only complaint is that I had to buy a 2" velcro strip with adhesive backing and stick it to a roll of magnet material to keep the back flap crown at the tailgate. Other than that, the top has held up amazingly! Went to Colorado for a week in upper elevations. There were a day or 2 that I woke up to 8"-10" of snow on top of it. I have a Datin fab bedcage over it. Great combo!!

I am very pleased and satisfied with the functionality and quality of my Softtopper, which I installed on my Ford F150 full-size bed. The convenience when it is necessary to cover my load, but also the ease and flexibility to be able to pull the Softtopper back and haul a load of gravel or topsoil makes this the right choice for me. The only minor issue has been a little leakage when it rains because of the holes on the top side of the truck bed, which the Softtopper rails and foam tape aren’t able to seal completely. But the benefits far outweigh this minor issue. The purchasing experience did take more than double the time initially estimated. But this was due to a supply issue, and no fault to Softtopper. However, communication of this delay in shipping was initially lacking until I made several calls to find out the status of my order. But in the end customer service did come through. So all in all, I am very pleased with the product, and satisfied with the company. It has even caught the eye of others who have asked me about it. So I would definitely recommend this product, when you need the flexibility to cover your load or open it up.
