Initially we received a great response from Safety Xpress when the order was placed in to ensure we received the bank details to transfer the funds, however upon requesting answers to our concerns regarding delivery, our emails where left answered and ignored.
We paid for a point-to-point delivery service; however we were subsequently advised that due to the distance, Safety Xpress would be sending the order via TNT instead and asked for confirmation that this was 'okay.'
We immediately expressed concern as we required 24 hour notice to ensure we had a staff member available on site to accept the goods as the premises was not manned.
Despite the question raised, it went unanswered, and we simply received the Shipment Note from a Sarah Smith. We once again queried with Sarah if this was confirmation that the order had been shipped and again no answer until we received a generic Order Dispatch notification in place of a direct response from Safety Xpress
We then proceeded to contact TNT to ask if they could provide 24-hour notice of the delivery to which they replied, their drivers do not send out notifications.
In the end, the order was left unattended outside of the gates to our premises with the risk of the items being compromised or misappropriated.
We were particularly disappointed that the order was sent without our consent to the change of delivery method and our communication fell on deaf ears for an issue that was of outmost importance to us.
