Shipping is an issue, to start with. My safe crushed its shipping pallet, so it arrive in a tangle of pallets the shipping company used to make it handleable. Safe itself is fine. None of the accessories (white light, gel)I ordered showed up with the safe or any subsequent shipment. Suggest your order them separately.

The box itself is great but I thought I was buying one to fit a full sized pistol, my . 45 dosnt fit

Pacific safe makes 2 UC 1414 safes an HD and a regular. To denote the model number they paint one black and one gray. I ordered the gray HD-UC1414 heavy walled unit. I received the black none HD(heavy duty) unit. Safe and Vault refunded me the difference they were great to work with! I hope Pacific safe starts sending the correct safes to customers. If you order the gray model HD-UC1414 and you receive the black model the black unit is not the same safe in the description. The black safe has thinner walls and weighs less than the gray model.

Good product but not easy to install. May need someone who specializes in customizations because its not compatible with all vehicles.

The plastic battery cover and the plastic key cover are cheaply made, key cover broke trying to pry it off
