Customer Service? Not really….

I reached out to customer support for a cracked globe and was asked for pictures. After submitting photos of the damage over a week ago, I have heard nothing form SAFAVIEH’s customer support.

Your online store displayed a set of two chairs, specifically: Brighton Bamboo Side Chair Black (Set of 2) | Sarreid Ltd - 27191. I ordered 4 sets of these chairs and paid $1549. 48 including $200 for delivery [Order #11838] on January 16, 2025. Subsequently Safavieh communicated that the advertised price for a set of two chairs was the price PER CHAIR. Obviously, this is deceptive and false advertising and would be unlawful in most states. I appealed to Safavieh to honor your online quoted price and was told that my only choice was to accept Safavieh's bait and switch or cancel my order. When an appeal to Safavieh was ignored, I cancelled the order. Months went by and the amount I had paid was NOT refunded to my credit card. Eventually I had to spend additional time--yes, the time of your customers IS valuable--calling Safavieh to get the amount I had paid refunded to my credit card. I very much like Safavieh furnishings including your rugs and, at the time, I was furnishing an entire house. But I have resolved to complete all of my purchases elsewhere should any needs arise for the four houses we currently own. I choose not to patronize outfits that engage in "Bait and Switch" advertising. Patricia Delaney

The first time the completely

The first time the completely wrong rug was sent. These rugs way close to 70 pounds. I had to babysit the return process until the new rug could be ordered. I had to wait for the old rug to be picked up and received in the warehouse. This added an extra two weeks of delay. The correct rug eventually arrived, however, it definitely is not ivory and gray as described. The rug pulls yellow and almost green. I opted to not return it however because I paid three separate workers to help me place the rug underneath very heavy bed. This is the last time I’ll ever order a rug without seeing it in person first. Stay away from this design.

Negative Experience Inadequate Return Policy

They would not grant the appropriate refund for a sub-par product. I was not at all happy with the bookcase that arrived. I communicated promptly, and they would not honor a full refund, as expected for an item at that price point.

horrible the customer service team

horrible the customer service team never responded, and I saw the item relisted as at a higher price when I was told it was out of stock. Not honoring your prices is a big dealbreaker.
