The conference focused too much

The conference focused too much around vendors in that many of the talks were given by vendors. I like having vendors at the conference, but I want to hear what actual hospitals are doing to solve problems.

I felt the conference was

I felt the conference was very commercialized. I would like to see more Research based topics with outcomes.

I attended a workshop on

I attended a workshop on day 2 which did not have a workshop part of it. 3 of my coworkers all attended and we all left saying the same thing. Also the sessions were too short many times and did not allow for a Q&A part of it so we left with many unanswered questions. Many topics were misleading and were advertised better than the session was with information.

Very long days. I'd recommend

Very long days. I'd recommend starting no earlier than 8 and starting the last session no later than 3 or 3:30. I did like the shorter sessions to keep the audience stimulated, but it seemed very intense for the duration. It was good! But maybe 3 full days would be better to spread things out and allow for a bit of breathing time. Thanks for having it - I was glad to be able to attend.

Networking was useful, but Personal Information was given to vendors

I appreciated the short talks and various networking sessions. I think it would have been more beneficial to break-up the morning a bit more in moving rooms or starting tracks earlier. I was most disappointed leading up to the conference. I received several phone calls from vendors to me work cell phone. The conference took place the week after Thanksgiving and getting that many phone calls in the middle of my day was disruptive. It would have been one thing if I had authorized my number to go to individual vendors, but I did not. If there was a release of some sort, it was not clear and felt underhanded. Additionally, the experience at the hotel was up and down. On Wednesday night my team went to dinner on the veranda and due to an allergy, one of our team members was unable to eat anything on the menu even though she had eaten there the night before. The reason given was that the food was outsourced. Very odd experience. Other than that, the speakers were to the point, focused on the how and not the numbers, which was appreciated. At times felt sales pitchy, but that happens.
