Black is Black
I recently saw the Natural Pigments video about their black pigments... Roman, Vine, German, Black Oxide, etc... and saw that there was a color blue black, which I had heard about recently but had never seen before in my practice. I liked how it tinted up for black in lighted or mid tones areas and want to try it. It’s my first time purchasing tube paints from Rublev and I also ordered two tubes of French Raw Umber, mistakenly, meaning to buy one each of raw and burnt umber to replace pigments of which I’m running out. I am excited to receive my tube of Oleogel and try it out, too. I ordered a few other products that I wanted to try, like their varnish brush, marble dust, and their putty medium, along with some turpentine, which I want to compare with some other turpentine from the hardware store. Everything was well packed, arrived undamaged, and was well tracked and the delivery was communicated to me. I didn’t know about reviews or I would have done an unboxing video!
