Natural Pigments OLD

I ordered almost all of the metalpoint points offered. All of them work great!

My recent order was lost by the USPS and when I tried to trace the Post Office was not helpful. I then phoned your offices and left a message. Very soon, I believe it was Tatiana called me back to advise that you had also tried to trace the order, but it became clear that the order was lost. I really like the paint and wish it came in bigger tubes! It does dry super fast so you need to add some medium or paint very quickly:—)

I paint (write) Byzantine style icons and the pigments I purchased were packaged and sent efficiently. The colors are lightfast and easy to mix with an egg tempera medium. I ordered from Natural Pigments before and used many of the Rublev pigments. I like their descriptions and historical information

I recently ordered one tube each of Oleogel medium, Velasquez Medium and Impasto Medium. So far, I've used the Oleogel the most and have found the paint handling with this medium to be outstanding both with brushes and knives. I probably used more than I needed because it did seem to increase the open time of the paint. That's not altogether bad as I do like to work back in to passages over a period of hours which really hasn't been possible with the alkyd gels that I've tried. I hope to compare the other two mediums with Oleogel to see if one stands out as a favorite.
