Barco Products M2

I ordered from Barco directly to cut down on the lead time. The suppliers we use order from Barco directly, so I thought I would too. I am not sure why their procurement is so much more of a struggle than say Grainger, but I really would like to find a supplier that has a relationship so I don't run in to the same issues. Wound up paying a ridiculous amount for shipping and the carrier was typically inattentive and indifferent. Barco delayed the shipment 2 weeks because one small part was not in stock. Overall paid too much and had to spend my time figuring it out for them (calling Barco to see why it was delayed in the first place and hounding the carrier for accurate delivery date). Barco makes good products and I will say the customer service rep I spoke to was nice. We had to use this material to match an existing condition, otherwise I would 100% get something else to miss these headaches.

Great before the sell customer service but the worse after the sell customer service.

I expected a 5-6 week time for product production but transport was confusing. When delivery includes more than one transport company I expect the tracking to indicate REAL final delivery to be included. I had to SIT and wait for call/delivery based on an inaccurate tracking notification. Can you sit and wait for delivery of anything? I can't. It spoiled my expectations of a very expensive product!!

Delivery schedule was not kept.

I ordered this bench because I thought it looked like a good quality bench and was under the impression that it would arrive already assembled. There was no indication that it would not come assembled so I was willing to pay the high shipping cost. It arrived unassembled and, despite the good quality, I have since seen other benches that are even better quality. Don't be fooled as I have been!
