GREATS

Great.

Title pretty much says it. I did have a problem with one pair and Greats got back to me immediately and replaced the shoes. One can only have so many pairs of sneakers, but I will be buying more and looking at the new styles as they come out. The discounts and gratis shipping are big pluses. Only negative is I find the sizing is inconsistent from one style to another (as mentioned in the descriptions of some styles) and they all seem to run narrow, As a general recommendation, I'd suggest buying a little larger unless you have a narrow foot. Greats, however, was quick to supply a good fit.

I purchased a pair of Royale’s and a pair of Pronto’s. I took them to Japan on a recent trip as my only shoes. Neither pair had been worn more than a few hours. They were terrific. I walked extensively to see the sights. Both pairs performed fantastically and I experienced no issues, even though the shoes were new. There was no break-in needed. I would buy both pairs again without question. The quality is astonishing.

The Royals highs are very well made, comfortable, and just dressy enough to wear with chinos and a sweater, or a blazer and jeans. The leather construction is durable and the shoes feel very solid without them being heavy on foot, and they are very stylish. I just wish Great made them with optional leather shoe laces! That would make these epic!

These shoes are awesome. I brought them to Europe on a month-long backpacking trip as my only shoes and they held up better than expected. I may be in the market for a new pair (tent stake took its toll on the sole) but these shoes did the job and continue to do so. Plus, people often ask about them re: where they're from, etc.
