Our Bank is very commercially focused and I would be interested in hearing more about commercial banking v consumer banking.

Just Okay

While I enjoyed hearing about the new technology out there, the most important piece of it was the people. How did you get people to change whether members, customers, team members? ITMs were talked about the whole first day. It would of been nice to hear from someone where it was an epic failure. I checked out by the end of the first day because ITMs don't fit into our business model. It would of been nice to have had a topic on how do you train people on all this technology or get those opposed on board. Several of the topics did not line up with the description. Example, round table 11 we were to talk about generations. It ended up being about ATMs and placement. The conference was extremely successful in providing network connections. Again, just wish there was more on the people aspect.

Gets better each year!

I was only able to stay for one day so this is based on Day 1. Overall a good event that gets better with age. I'll probably attend again but wait a year. A few things that could help out. 1) The agenda was packed with great content but difficult to read as much as a paper handout is a waste of paper, it would be nice to have a paper 2-page agenda that was available. 2) Would be great to have access and ability to export attendee list ahead of time. I would have liked to sort attendees by state, industry, size/track, 1st time attendees, etc. 3) Austin gets a little scary at night with all of the homeless. It's a great city and the venue at the Hilton was better, but still lots of homeless made it uncomfortable walking so I stay near the hotel. 4) Access to the vendors ahead of time so I could plan. I got lots of LinkedIn request so the vendors got the attendee list but we didn't get the vendor list. 5) This was my second year but I talked to a number of first timers. It would be nice to offer a mixer on Sunday night for all 1st time attendees and have it hosted by some of the past attendees that have been to multiple conferences. You could learn a lot in a short period of time and make the event more rewarding. 5) I'm sure you were waiting until the last minute to get some presenters slides but it would be nice to have access to them ahead of time or the day of so I could have taken notes on the slides. Worst case you can share them afterward on the app.

Future Branches

It was useful to see the vendors, but I expected more vendors. Some of the sessions didn't go into enough detail, maybe a case study in detail would be helpful. The group breakouts I didn't find too useful. However overall several good topics and I did get some good takeaways some of which I think are actually actionable... Overall it was good and I'll look to the Boston agenda.

It felt like there was

It felt like there was a lot of repetition throughout the conference. I also think there is a different thinking between the banks and the credit unions. One thought I had, as the afternoon has different tracks, I think it would be helpful to have a track for credit unions and a track for banks.
