This is truly a great

This is truly a great carry-on travel pack. In fact, I would say it is the best on the market. Max size, great organization options, superior harness and suspension system make it both spacious and comfortable to carry. The harness zips away so as not to catch on these while on the plane. It has a cover to protect it from rain when walking through a downpour. I am glad it does *not* have wheels, as they just add weight, take up space, and are unusable in airports in the developing world. I’m sold.

Daypack worked well for a

Daypack worked well for a 2-week plane and car trip. Carried pack on plan with stuff to do and eat; wore pack hiking and site-seeing. Worked well: light weight, easy to get on and off, comfortable to wear all day.

We bought our Tortuga Air

We bought our Tortuga Air Carry On Backpacks for a trip from the UK to Australia via Malaysia. The trip involved 12 separate flights with all the associated airport security checks and transfers, together with a road trip down the East Coast of New South Wales. The back packs were brilliant, beautifully made and so practical. They lived up to their reputation for being the best and more.

The Tortuga Air Backpack is

The Tortuga Air Backpack is probably one of the best investments I've made. I think the backpack is well made, durable, and thoughtfully designed. The option to expand the size of the backpack with a simple pull of a zipper was a lifesaver. I went on a week-long sojourn across Quebec City to Toronto via Montreal, and was able to fit an astounding amount of clothing. I don't mean to get too personal, but as a man of small stature (I stand at 5'-5" and have a slim build) I thought there would be no way for me to use backpacks as luggage. The size of the backpacks I was recommended were way too large and way too unwieldy to realistically use. The thought of lugging some of these packs through crowded bus terminals, train stations, airports, and city streets in below-freezing weather discouraged me from even trying. Yet, Tortuga came to rescue. Fellow members of the Total Awesomeness of Small (a group I made up like two seconds ago), we have our backpack!
