Tortuga

I purchased both the travel backpack and the packable daypack. I recently returned from a 10-day trip in Morocco and the backpack worked to perfection. It was so liberating to be able to travel without wheeling a suitcase behind me and to be able to just jump on a bus or train unencumbered. The travel backpack was perfect for air travel as well as it fit perfectly in the overhead on even the smaller 2x2 commuter jets that support my hometown airport. I used the packable daypack for going out and about during the daytime. A 1.5 liter bottle of water fit in the main compartment along with a rain jacket, snacks and other miscellaneous items with a little room for some shopping treasures. My only small issue with the large travel pack was that if I packed something dense at the top of the pack and zipped so that the two zippers met at the top, it would occasionally cause the main zipper to work it's way open while walking. Problem was easily solved by a small carabiner or zipping the zipper all the way to one side or the other. This is an outstanding product and I can't thank you enough for fundamentally changing the way I will pack and travel forever! I love my Tortuga Backpacks. The one thing I would love to see you guys add is maybe some sort of roll-up suit bag that would attach by strap or something for when I need to bring a blazer or suit with me on a trip.

I certainly have a keen eye for bags as I work for the airlines. I love my Tortuga BackPack; it's construction, look and the story behind its evolution. Of course, the only other thing that I wish for is a little courtesy discount extended to Airline Employees. In such a vast industry, I know that the word would spread quickly and colleagues would be more eager to order. Nonetheless, as for me, I typically purchase what I like and even though one can't always tell the exact quality of things by simply looking online, the quality of my bag turns out to be great for me. I love to support independent companies. I love Tortugas story and am truly happy for their success! P.S. maybe people would love to see other colors in the future

Great shopping experience and I'm very happy with the air model. I'm 5'7" and it fits well. The regular size would have been obnoxiously huge. I'm in the process of packing for my first trip now. I have a full suit, shirt, belt, tie, and socks in the zippered side. I'll have plenty or room in the main compartment for 2 pairs of shorts, 5 shirts, board shorts, toiletries, laptop, power cords, pack jacket, and the tortuga day pack.

Excellent service and product. I realized my purchase qualified for a discount, and Tortuga applied it retroactively with no problems.
