Informative but looking for more innovation

The conference was great: really learned a lot from other companies, however it was focused a little too much around electronics and large appliances, TV's etc. Would've liked to see a little more of a variety to include furniture or just be a little more general. I was also expecting to see a little more innovation, maybe some "tricks of the trade" that other companies have found to work for them, or things they tried that didn't work the way they thought they would. Lastly, I really enjoyed the idea of the interactive roundtables, however with everyone being in the same room and with the tables being so large, it was really hard to hear over all other groups that were talking. My suggestion would be for groups to go into other areas or other rooms to make the conversation easier to hear in order to make more interactive. Overall, I really did enjoy the speakers and hearing what other companies had to say. Made some great connections and the venue/location of being in downtown Nashville was fabulous.

More diversity in the speakers and topics would be helpful in telling the full reverse logistics story -- beyond retail.

We were a bit disappointed by the overall format and trajectory. The round tables were not worth the price paid for them and our first table was sabotaged as a result of anybody being able to attend it. The format of the conferences were not very targeted and for a company like Segue, most of them were not informative. You kept removing chairs from the hallways making it difficult to find places to sit and talk to people. There were not many OEM's to talk to (based on our business) but plenty of competitors. The OEM base was all over the board and limited in the CE space. We were able to meet a variety of people however most of that came from running into them arbitrarily. The CRS app was useful and helped a bit to contact people. Tx, Team Segue

Suggestions for next year

I was looking for more options of content and break out sessions so I could customize my experience at the conference related to my needs. I also would have liked to see more suggestions on solutions, less about the individual company's and their journey. What did they do to SOLVE the problem they are discussing.

Good show, but lots of commercials

Many of the speakers felt like they were selling their services or service-models. Those speakers that were focused on their process primarily offered "lessons learned" as opposed to forward-looking presentations (what are my current challenges). There were a few exceptions to this but would enjoy it more if it was focused more on looking forward. Some of the small group tables were just straight-up sales-pitches; that was disappointing.
