Worthwhile

I had a great time and learned a lot from my first CR conference. I held the most value in 1:1 opportunities with other retails - whether through round-tables or boardroom sessions. These provided the best opportunity to receive direct feedback from other retailers on how problems are being tackled - a level of specificity I felt was sometimes lacking in the presentations and panel discussions. More opportunity to connect with like companies through these means, as well as direct education sessions (such as the academic talk, which provided objective, data-based recommendations) would make for a 5-star conference.

Would like to see more panel or separate discussion on ecommerce. As well as dividing the conference into separate discussions for company's who may be interested on a bigger picture - and into the weeds discussion.

Consumer Returns Conference

Overall the quality of the presentations need work. Key notes need to be more about insights, intell vs just giving a company commercial. For Example - the Presentation by Michael (Professor) on final day should have been a key note on day 1 with a full hour. You should also try and work with presentors to establish basic presentations that can be viewed, read, and look professional - they are a reflection of the conference and of them.

Weak content

Overall I felt that the content was a little weak. I made a couple of good connections, but could have done that in one day.
