Worthwhile
I had a great time and learned a lot from my first CR conference. I held the most value in 1:1 opportunities with other retails - whether through round-tables or boardroom sessions. These provided the best opportunity to receive direct feedback from other retailers on how problems are being tackled - a level of specificity I felt was sometimes lacking in the presentations and panel discussions. More opportunity to connect with like companies through these means, as well as direct education sessions (such as the academic talk, which provided objective, data-based recommendations) would make for a 5-star conference.
