Fine until we had a problem

I gifted my husband a 3 month snack box subscription. The first 2 were fine. For the May box, he did not receive the correct contents. He emailed but the reply didn’t seem to come from a real person or a person who was familiar with customer service. I politely emailed and received one condescending reply on a Thursday. The following Tuesday, we still have no resolution.

Variety

There has not been a very lot of variety for some time with your offerings from your club ! I can go for a short drive to numerous suburbs in Australia from where I live and go into a small independently run deli and get a different selection of small goods from various countries and cultures and most are delicious and reasonably cheap !!

Mixed bag...

Some months are very good but others are awful. I've had to contact the companies a few times for poor quality/inedible meats. I've had multiple items labeled "Keep refrigerated" that have shipped out regular mail.

Not my favourite web site !

I have enjoyed some of the products on offer and realise that I would not like every product on offer, that I believe is fair enough. I personally find your web site difficult to navigate, in that I mean it IS difficult to find out what product is on offer each and every month ! Trying to navigate your web site is like pulling teeth, painful and difficult !

Careful of subscription details

I subscribed for 1 year. Initially we were happy with the novelty of this product. However as the year progressed the quality of the product shipped was variable and not worth the significant subscription cost. One shipment arrived without any labels or description of the product, just packages of mystery meat. The company stated they would send a replacement but this never arrived. Finally when the year was done I received another box of meat and was told that I would be charged as the subscription automatically renews. Despite telling the company I did not want the meat and to cancel my subscription I was still sent the shipment and charged for it. Be aware of this business practise so you don’t get robbed too. I would not recommend this company or the product they deliver.
