Cozy desk: Great! Customer Service: Not so much

I purchased the Cozy Desk at the end of August, and have enjoyed using it, for the most part. But one of the plastic clips that holds my laptop computer on the desk tray broke the FIRST time I put it on the tray (before the first time I placed the computer on). It was obviously defective. Knowing that the clips are a pretty essential part of the desk design to hold computers in place, I immediately send an email requesting a new one - or better yet, several new ones (plastic clips). Not only did I never hear back by email (even after emailing a 2nd time!). When I tried calling, I got hung up on several times, even though the recording told me what the business hours were!
I still like the desk, and I still need more of the plastic clips But I don't feel like a very valued customer with the negligence with which I've been treated.
