Bol can make very good soup. But they can also make very poor soup. Their recipes are inconsistent. For example, the Pea & Spinach soup might be nice. It might have a very good consistency, with some beans to add substance. On the other hand, you might get a green watery tasteless soup without any beans. Recently, I had the pleasure of nothing but beans & hardly any soup whatsoever. Then there's the Butternut Squash soup. It might be watery & bland. It might have a good consistency with "bits" & a mild spicy kick. Or, it might taste of lime & be nothing like Butternut Squash. Bol soup have serious problems. They cannot consistently make a good soup. It really is pot luck when you buy their soup. I reckon that either they have "cooks" that are drunk half of the time, or they have substandard equipment. Alternatively, they might all just be useless.

I really like the BOL shakes, but twice now I've had a bad experience. Once the bottle was cracked, and when I got out of the supermarket to drink it, I wouldn't due to possible glass bits inside the bottle. More recently I took a bottle on the train with me and as I twisted the lid it exploded with pressure, ruining my clothes. It still had 10 days to go on sell-by-date. Due to these experiences I give BOL a 3 star review.

Shame soup packaging has changed. Its very difficult to open and more wasteful as not as reusable as the previous jars.

Food very tasty but beware of very hot lids and pots. Took along time to get sorted unfortunately

I guess it's 4* for the choice of Posh Noodles (less edamane please) and One Pots; 2* for availability (for those in rural locations); 1* because you can't freeze the One Pots or Posh Noodles (necessary for those no where near stockists) and 5* for flavour
