the voice coil wires are very close to the frame of the speaker and the terminal assembly is loose fit onto the speaker frame. if you have short leads, you have a chance to create a dead short when the voice coil wire comes into contact with the speaker frame. opening and closing vehicle doors can cause the terminals to shift. other than that, the sound quality is the best ive had in a midrange speaker! extremely loud and clear!

Somehow their system glitched and said they,didn't have any in stock so I was put on back order when they did have them in stock. Waited for an entire week and finally contacted a. c. They responded and shipped my speakers next day air priority.
