Very unresponsive

I have Delta Dental on my own. I see that AARP offers a Delta Dental Plan. I asked for someone to contact me to discuss the differences between the two plans. No response. I completed a survey a while back and ask that somebody contact me. Nobody contacted me.

Disappointed

Last fall my dental office submitted a pre-treatment authorization. A whole lot went wrong between Delta Dental and Provider. Too much confusion and misinformation. Had I known that Code 089 is a Denial Code I wouldn't have the Oral Surgery procedure. I would have cancelled my appointment. However, when I called Delta Dental and Dentist Office I was given information that is misleading, incorrect and deceptive. Going to a dentist is scary. Then to get a "surprise" bill is even more Scary. The provider gave me a "courtesy" adjustment on that bill and brought everything to a satisfactory Close. Will I go back to this office in the future? Maybe for twice annual 100 percent covered services. For major work, NO. Their billing system is not professional enough. Doesn't meet my standards. I suffered a lot of unnecessary stress.

My dentist in St Louis won’t take my Drlta because I’m out of network. So I din’t get my full benefits.

Can't get anything done

I went to the dentist hoping at least for a cleaning and maybe a filling. Instead I spent 2 hours getting just x-rays of every sort imaginable. 2 hours for an estimate of what they would like to do if/when i can. I can't even get a filling until October. That estimate cost almost $300.00 and I am working on paying off the deductible for that estimate. In the meantime I still have a toothache.
