Poor Coverage, Lack of Transparency

I had to replace 2-old crowns. My Dentist submitted and only a certain amount was covered and I was told to wait until after January 1, 2021 for more coverage. I waited and had both crowns replaced in February, 2021 and Delta Dental covered LESS than $100. I had to pay more than $700 after paying the initial $750+. When I called Delta Dental I was told my 'year' begins in MAY. Now, why wasn't I told that previously?

Since you changed claims to

Since you changed claims to your Wisconsin location, we've had nothing but problems (about 1+ year). We've had claim denial issues and found that everything stems from YOU changing my birth date in the system!!!!!! Supposedly, it was fixed on 12/29/20, but I could not get into my EOB in February 2021, because the national system still had the wrong date.!!!!!!!! Supposedly, everything is fixed now, but I promise you this ... the next issue/problem will be my last with you - I'm sure I can find someone who will gladly accept my premiums of $825 and be willing to not make my life miserable every time I go to my dentist!

Just found out that Delta

Just found out that Delta Dental did not pay a benefit for my recent extraction. I only found out when I got a bill from the oral surgeon. I called the office and they said Delta needed more information before paying the extraction benefit. How come Delta Dental did not reach out to me for this information? I was not happy with the oral surgeon's office either. The person I spoke to said they would submit my x-rays to Delta Dental for review. Hopefully payment will be made.

Get more In Network Endodontists

The fact I'm having to drive over an hour away for a ROOT CANAL because no one is in-network by me is ridiculous. I live in a highly populated area, there's no reason I should have to drive so far away.

I'm experiencing problems with a claim that was not paid to the endodontist. They lost all paperwork when Illinois individual policies were transferred to Wisconsin. Very bad business practices. How can you lose all these records and expect people to pay out of pocket claims they should have?
