Hanukkah Box Challenges

I just worked on the 2022 Hanukkah box with my 7-year-old grandson. The dreidel was fun and worked well, but the clay menorah was pretty disappointing. It was hard to measure the exact amount of the water (why not mark the cup according to what we need?) and the clay in the small "color bags" was inconsistent - some was too liquid, and some hardened before we could pour it into the mold. Less than half of the clay candle holders dried correctly and could be used. And I've still got purple dye on my hands! Those were the only two activities we did in the limited time we had to work on this box.

Decline in Quality

I was very disapointed iwth the latest box. There were fewer actvities than last years box. I would like more activities that have to do with the meaning of the holidays.

Not as creative as before

These boxes were a lot more creative, multi-fauceted and engaging in the past. I used to recommend this company to friends. In the last year or so, experiences have been rather average and less engaging. Currently, I would grade the level of creativity as a “C-“

Pluses and Minuses

The activities for children that come in each box vary from OK to very good, but the special cooking instructions which also come in each box are complex, require many ingredients (at least some of which a typical household may not have), and require a good bit of parent time.
