Not perfect results this time - just ok
The new Canon printers do produce great colour but the printing now is some 10% to 15% darker than it was on the old printer sỵstem I know this as I have had the same product printed on both printing systems. The issue is that the pdf proofs show the same brightness so cannot be considered at all reliable for brightness control. I did have a physical proof of one product (as recommended) but without an exact before and after comparison (which I didn't have for this product) the printing looked OK. It is the comparison that shows you are losing some "punch" in the printed image. I suggest you carefully consider brightness (get a physical proof if economically justifiable). Do not rely anymore on the pdf proofs for brightness control. In future, I will be increasing brightness by 10 - 15% for future printing.
