I loved my experience with Bario Neal. I went back and forth on wedding rings for ages but nobody ever made me feel like a problem. They made sure I was happy with my decision and were always super friendly.

I randomly happened across a short article years ago in Philly's sustainability magazine, The Grid, about local businesses. BN was in there, and ever since then I had them in the back of my mind if I was ever to buy an expensive piece of jewelry. Fast-forward to 2023 when I got engaged, and my dad gifted me a diamond that he had purchased as an investment in 1973 from the jewelry shop that his grandfather and father owned. Immediately I knew that I would take it to BN in Philly (city of my birth and upbringing) and create a special custom engagement ring for myself. I love the fact that I gave my business to a local (not a chain!) women-owned company that has taken many measures in their business to be more inclusive and eco/socially-friendly with using lab-grown diamonds, and including different types of relationships in their marketing and social media (love is love), as well as believing in a woman's choice to her reproductive health. It makes me feel good about spending my money there, and about wearing the ring that we created. Ariel was the one who I worked with start-to-finish, and she was fantastic! The communication was great, very friendly and professional. She was always willing to answer my questions, and explain everything in detail about the process. Lovely person. I really enjoyed working with her. I now have a gorgeous gold ring with the diamond from my dad, which is so meaningful to me. I highly recommend BN for your jewelry needs!

It is so tricky to find fine jewelry in rose gold, and I was so delighted to discover that Bario Neal had this lovely necklace. The adjustable option means this is essentially two necklaces in one. It's delicate but not fragile and I've worn it almost daily since it arrived. Though this said it was made to order, it arrived so quickly.
