For the price the matts I bought are fine. They were very inexpensive so I can't complain about the small flecks of black on some of them.

Loved the quality of the matting. However, had a small problem with two of them being cut too large. Put a call into you but had no response.

Had just printed a batch of photos with the normal border to be mounted and sold at our local gallery. Much to my surprise to find the mats from 5dollarframes had been over cut by a quarter of an inch over standard photo mats. Will have to order oversized prints in the future to use these mats.

The shipment came on time, as promised, but I was dismayed at the "quality" of the mat boards (frames). I'd ordered the double layer mat boards and saw that they were unevenly cut (the inner frame was skewed and stuck out beyond the edge of the black "frame" portion of the board), the layers were already separating from each other, and several corners were bent/wrinkled. The web site did offer the mat boards at a much lower rate than I could have purchased them at a local frame store, but when the cost of shipping was added to the purchase, the total cost was the same. I prefer to be able to see the quality of the mat boards BEFORE I purchase them, so I will use the local shop from now on, rather than rely on unseen merchandise through the mail. I have to keep in mind that these mat boards/frames will be matting my artwork which I sell to the public.
