The arborist recommended just the mold inhibitor drench. He did not recommend spraying for spider mites since they are secondary to the mold infestation and really an indicator of the mold problem. Verified with a consulting arborist friend that this was a good plan which he confirmed. The technician came, did the work, and supplied the invoice. They will come again in the Spring to see if this gets the Phytopthera under control. I have 13 other Arborvitae that I would like to save.

$100 a month for the 15 minutes he spent spraying the yard seems like a lot of money. However, we haven’t had any more mole holes since the first treatment so we’re calling it worth it.

Yard treatment was applied as agreed upon. They left instructions to water and a treat for my dog! I would still prefer to receive a text or call stating when they are coming prior to arriving. I had put grass seed down only a few days before the weed and feed treatment was applied. I hope the seeds still sprout.
