Not sure what level of craftsmanship I expected for a $1000 mantle, but cam lock and pressed wood on half the mantle was not it. Interior moulding cut not accurate. . This mantle was supposed to be paint or stainable and it cannot be stained due to the lack of wood grain on half of it. If I had to do it over again I would not. Package arrived well packed was the highlight.

The unfinished mantel came with several saw marks on the front edge of the wood. We needed it for a new build and thought we could fill and sand. The marks still show through the strain. Of course, we are past our 48 hours to inspect. Very disappointed.

Service was good, but very disappointed in quality of mantel. Surface is very rough and don’t know how I am going to be able to keep clean and dusted.

Box received damaged, thankfully bad part was on backside. Poor craftsmanship put together, edges were not put together well and black stain was missing on edges. Can’t believe I paid $200

I purchased the hood to redirect heat for our ventless fireplace. It didn’t help. 100 dollars wasted.
