Shelf was as expected, but top surface was rough and needed to be sanded.

I like it very much, went together fairly easy, and looks great. The only issue that I have is that I got one that was unfinished, so that I could stain it myself. There is what appears to be dried glue on some of the pieces that were already put together. Since glue doesn’t stain you can see it. Is it enough to return it over?…No it’s a minor issue to me, but would have been nice not to be able to see it.

My order came on time and the product fit exactly. The only area of improvement I could see was in communicating timely on order status and shipping information. I had to contact them to get this information instead of the contacting me when my order was complete and shipped.

We received our Patton style mantel/fireplace unit in perfect condition . Assembly went smoothly, although you will need a second person to hold the pieces together as the screws are tightened. One important note: we improved the stability of the mantel by using metal L brackets inside the unit walls and to secure the top of mantel to the body. Aside from that, we are very satisfied w/ our purchase.
