We have reduced how much wine we drink at dinner. The Coravin allows us to drink a glass each from two bottles. Then that bottle will be enough for a later dinner. In addition we can try a wine to see if it's corked before taking it to a resturant. Great flexability and overall cost savings.

Using Coravin allows me to have one glass, yet save the bottle as though it hadn’t been opened. No need to open a bottle and finish it off within just a few days. With Corvin, I can savor a bottle of good wine over time.

I have an extensive wine collection and live alone, so the Coravin has allowed me to access many fine wines that I would have been reluctant to drink alone for fear of wasting the unfinished wine. It also allows me to monitor the progress of aging of my wines, so that I can more reliably drink them at their prime. Another alternative use-- if a cork is suspected of being brittle, the Coravin allows you to pour wine without the annoyance of cork particles in the wine. Great product!
