Tree height included the roots. They also came a day late. Really think I should get some sort of half off coupon for another tree cause these trees were not the height listed on my order.

I phoned Brighter Blooms to find out if three sago palms could be delivered to my aunt’s funeral. I was assured that appropriate pots would be shipped so that soil didn’t spill out onto the carpet and a sympathy message was taken to be included on a card. Not only did the plants arrive in their standard landscape pots, but there was no indication who the plants were for or from. I had to hurry to a home improvement store to buy three pots and quickly re-pot the plants. Had I not been at the funeral home when the plants arrived, they would never have been delivered to my family. The plants themselves were healthy.

I am sure the shipping company had something to do with the mess of loose dirt and plants that was in my delivery box. The plants where packed so half where upside down to the others so they where bound to spill, but the wraps were loose as well so nothing was retained to hold the soil around the plants. As far as the plants go they did not look as developed as in the advertisement. I purchased the insurance and am thinking I may need to use it after the rough start. The order was filled and shipped quickly after the order was made. I may or may not use Brighter Blooms again because it would be just as easy to go to local nursery and know what you are getting and with out doing a transplant from the turbulent delivery....

Receiving trees in the heat of the summer requires a lot of work to survive the season and shock of planting. One of the the trees have black spots on the leaves. The trees arrived alive and fresh looking.
