Poor service

They were really nice on the phone up until i payed the deposit. After I was just a reference number. Many delays since they deal with different companies in each country and it’s out of their control what happens then. I sent 4 pieces of luggage on 23/10 and 13/11 I still don’t have a date for when it arrives to me.

I found that when I phoned up to find out information I was always greeted with very positive and helpful people. However what I had agreed and checked with them and what transpired were different resulting in me having a number of hidden charges. I do not know whether I was just misinformed or there are always hidden charges but either way I ended up having to nearly double the quote but because they already had my items I had no way of arguing or cancelling the process. It was a very disappointing end to what had become as stressful time when relocating and needing to ship my belongings to my new home abroad.

I constantly had to phone to chase, the shipment took very much longer and was more expensive than than the estimate. Wouldn’t recommend. Sorry.

Pickup had to be rescheduled 3 times because of mistakes on BaggageHub or the pickup company's side. Processing took ages and no-one at BH knew why or could give me any information, and it got to the point where I called (which is a bit pricey from abroad) daily to see what was happening. I finally got my delivery scheduled and only knew about it because again I called to ask what was up. The boxes arrived in good condition and nothing was damaged but it took around a month all in all, not 7-10 days as advertised. Quite a frustrating experience so if you're looking for a cheap overseas moving company this is the cheapest you can get but be prepared for not amazing service.
