Unpredictable but in the end alright.
I sent 6 boxes of personal effects across the Atlantic as part of moving house. The drivers both provided very good service and the phone contact number was very helpful and friendly.
Unfortunately, the issue was with the actual shipping. My packages were set to arrive on the 12th of the month. They did not even leave the UK until the 16th and did not arrive at the destination until the 24th. I respect there are some uncertainties with international shipping, but I was never given any explanation for the delay, even after chasing up myself
Communication improved considerably once BaggageHub passed my packages on to DHL, who it turns out did the actual shipping. I consider the price to be fair, but I do wonder what it would have cost to just send with DHL myself.
All in all, the move worked for me, as I was lucky to be in a position where I could manage without my personal effects for 14 extra days. But I could not recommend the service to others without the significant caveat of unpredictability.
